Fair warning: I'm one person doing this on the side after being a full-time employee and a dad, I will be as fast as I can.

Frequently asked

My calibration or scores got wiped.

The Clear Profile button in the System Settings panel erases all local data, and there is no cloud backup by design. If you didn't press it, that's a bug — please report it.

Is it OK for my kid?

The game is fine for all ages — target shooting at hay bales, clays and tin cans, nothing upsetting. The headset is the part to think about rather than the game: check the minimum age your headset maker recommends and stick to it, and keep sessions short with proper breaks for younger players. VR is far more immersive than a TV, and the guidance around developing eyes and balance is there for a reason. It's also played standing and swinging your arms, so give them room.

Can I play on PC?

Not yet. It's launching on Meta Quest first, where it runs standalone with no PC needed. A Steam version for SteamVR headsets is very likely to follow — it already builds and runs — but I'd rather ship one platform at a time.

Do I need a guardian boundary?

On Quest, yes — the system requires one to launch. The shooting area is about 3mx3m by default, but the game only really needs about 1mx1m of standing space.

How do I adjust where the arrow sits at full draw?

Draw to full so the pin engages, hold A or X on either controller, then move the other hand's thumbstick to nudge the anchor. Release to save. The adjustment is stored per bow.

Can I turn off the assists?

Yes. Anchor Snap and Quick Draw both toggle from the settings panel. Quick Draw off means you have to physically reach the bow string-ish to nock an arrow.
